The mission of the Educational Service Agency is to advocate, support and facilitate the educational, social, emotional and physical welfare of youth through the promotion and delivery of educational and educationally related services to and for member districts and other youth and human service related agencies.

ESA2 has a new Website!
ESA2 launched a new Website this month! The new site features a new look and feel, as well as an updated calendar of events, newsletters, and resources for schools. Check out the new site at: http://www.edec.org/esa/esaindex.html.
The Education Service Agencies began in South Dakota as a vehicle to better deliver services to schools. In the spring of 2004, seven regional agencies were selected from proposals submitted to the Department of Education. Each agency is responsible for providing services to regional school districts, and serving as a resource for schools.
